D'Amelios Italian Eatery, a popular land mark in the Italian neighborhood called Town Plot in Waterbury, is located at 718 Highland Ave. D'Amelios is nestled in one of the highest points of Waterbury and specializes in old world Italian cuisine.

D'Amelio's was founded by Brother's Giuseppe and Gianni D'Amelio in the neighborhood that they grew up in. They started the business as a neighborhood Italian grocery store, transformed it into a deli, and after sixteen years in business it has evolved into the restaurant that it is today.

D'Amelios features indoor and seasonal outdoor dining. Inside features street level dining with oversized booths and a loft, which offers six cozy tables.
